Thank you so much, It took me several hours but i´ve learned many new things while doing so. I also need help: My "area template" does have the same configuration with the "area projects" and "area resources" but when i create a new area, it does not show this sections. ¿what coud be wrong?

Fruinotion can publish your notion page with your domain in the url for free, a bit of a headache but I got it working for years

Already commented on another video, but just wanted to say thanks again. I've been watching Notion videos for days, and your setup is the only one that has worked for my ADHD brain so far. Not sure if you'll see this, but I have a quick question. I LOVE your version of the PARA method, where projects, notes, resources etc. live inside the Areas. (This is the part that works for my brain). But with this template, the areas are set up as a gallery view of a database. I would like to see each of my areas in the sidebar. Is there a way to do that and still keep everything linked in this template?

There's alternate methods that don't need automation. You just need the following fields in the database 1. Task name 2. Start time (date) 3. End time (date) 4. Status (select) [To Do/Doing/Done] 4. I just discovered Notion this week, as I was looking for one app that could do what I'm currently doing with Reminders/Apple Notes/Trello - basically I want all my tasks, project notes & attachments to live in the same place. I think this might do it! Thank you for the template. Although it's going to take me awhile to wrap my head around it, there is no way I could have figured this out myself.

Dear Thomas, When will Notion calendar is optimized for ipad and hand writing?

Shocked Notion doesn't just duplicate tasks in a project template instead of link it. Seems like such a basic thing that it should be able to do. This manual workaround won't work for me or my team when the buy-in is already moderate. This will definitely keep the team from wanting to use Notion now. Which is such a damn shame. It can almost do anything.

Notion: useless and time consuming. All the time spend on building databases and designing interfaces is better spend in just working.

Can notion sites be useful for building SEO traffic?

This is exciting! The ability to hide some or all of the properties & comments in sites would be very useful. For example, I just shared our project to-do with the client as a site. In the properties, they are seeing internal areas such as when we will do it.

I just followed this step by step and happy to say you do not have to duplicate the table view in order to create a board view! Go Notion!

Hey Thomas Frank. Thanks for all the helpful guides. Notion is Awesome! Though, i wanted to know, if it were possible for Notion to include some sort of cumulative frequency formula for the databases. Some Context on why i need one: This is something i would like so i could create a study timetable with dedicated times. I wanted it to be flexible enough so that i could easily get all my work done throughout the day. It should start from 0 though and then cumulate. Each subject has their own amount of time needed to be studied, and by clicking a button to start the course of the day, it tells me the time each subject will be studied. To do this though i had to make a cumulative frequency table manually. The problem now is say that, i have to go somewhere. Then i'll have to take a break and come back. Now when i come back i would press that start button again, and it will reset all the times according to the new start time. But what i wish that if i completed some tasks already, it would not cumulate the hours for those tasks, and just do the rest. That's basically all i would need thus far, and probably the cumulative frequency formula could potentially help if it had one.

and the import from Evernote, do you know? It doesn't work well here. I'm a long-time Evernote user. I have a lot of notes. When importing into Notion, something is always missing. It can't be trusted. Any suggestion?

Is there a way to use a generic URL without needing to buy a custom domain each time? I want to build custom guest guidebooks for my Airbnb management clients (most of which do not have their own custom domain) but I don't want the link I provide them to have my name on it. I am wondering if I can create a new notion account just called 'guidebooks' instead of my personal name, so every link says that instead? Any weigh in here from the crowd?

What I hate in notion is the side padding. It is almost impossible to have it as a note document in a split screen on your laptop.

Topic Request: I'm concerned that Notion is a centralized & can use my data. I'm also concerned about wrong-think I'm alluding to Adobe's recent policy change on customer data. It seems they can use (exploit, steal) for any reason & not just to train AI.
